Any individuals with an interest in web site design, web-based application development, or web related programming languages are welcome to join the Prescott Web Design Meetup Group.

This group's objective is to provide a friendly atmosphere for discussion of industry trends, networking, and sharing of member resources and knowledge.

This group offers an excellent chance for new designers to learn more about advanced topics beyond HTML such as dynamic database-driven site design, developing applications for the web, and advanced Flash components.

This can also be your forum to discuss the realities of the web design business, from how to market yourself as a consultant, establish a portfolio, and deal with common problems related to clients.

Membership is free, although we do suggest each member contribute a donation of $15.00 per year to help cover the costs of running the group.  Donations are applied towards the fees charged by meetup.com, hosting expenses, as well as refreshments and handout materials at seminar meetings.

The Prescott Web Design Meetup meets the second Thursday of each month at the Prescott Brewing Company, located at 130 W. Gurley Street (in the Bashford Courts building).

All ages and experience levels are welcome. Hope to see you at the next meeting.
